The Thatcham Wado Karate club was asked to participate in the filming of a episode of Cash in the Attic (a daytime BBC1 television programme).
The theme of the programme is for members of the public to sell antiques and then use the cash raised to "Turn your dreams into reality".
Two ladies from Newbury wished to start up Karate lessons and the club was invited to participate.
The program was aired early in December and showed about 1 minute of actual Karate material which included some demonstrations by Sensei Barry Wilkinson, Paul Knight and also some footage of some basics with Sempai Greta.
We will be publishing some small video's soon for the club members to view (watch this space).
